A course by Fátima Ordinola
Fátima Ordinola works at the design studio Icono Comunicadores in Peru and has created picturebooks for both children and adults. She has published books with the publisher Panamericana and has spoken at the Salón de Ilustración Imagen Palabra in Peru (2018), the Lima International Illustration Conference – Imaquinario (2018), and the Lima International Book Fair (2019).
Fátima tries to write her books in such a way that each page and illustration invite the reader into an intimate and authentic space. She draws on personal photos and objects from her family for inspiration and approaches to storytelling which she then uses to fill the blank page.
