Requirements and materials
No previous painting, watercolor, or drawing experience is necessary for this course.
In terms of materials, you need watercolors, paper, paintbrushes, a mixing palette, two containers for water, a cloth for drying, a traditional or mechanical pencil, an eraser, table salt, bleach, India ink, and white gouache.

In 2016, while working in public relations, Franncine de Miranda discovered her true calling was watercolor, and went on to set up Estúdio Luares. From her creative laboratory, she produces illustrations that combine different techniques and mediums. Through her work, Franncine seeks to use nature's inspiration to transform her feelings into images.
She's given classes in venues such as Sesc Paulista and Belenzinho in São Paulo. Her work also appears on products and decorative textiles, as well as in publications like Trip magazine.

I loved the explanation of using yellow and blue to highlight the initial light and shadow areas first before laying down the colour. This actually improved my painting and understanding of colour so much more.
