Requirements and materials

Knowing how to use your camera in manual mode is recommended, as well as basic knowledge of Photoshop.

You need a 35mm camera, a 50mm or larger lens, a tripod, and three studio flashes or speedlights. In addition, you also need modifiers such as beauty dishes, softboxes, and umbrellas; a background; a model; and a wide variety of props, and a computer with Photoshop and Nik Collection software.

Felix Hernandez Dreamphography

Félix Hernández's secret is to imagine and create consistent concepts with his photographs. Working primarily in the studio, he mixes camera effects with digital art to achieve realistic images and bring his scale models to life. In recent years, his work with scale models has gone viral and has been published in media outlets all over the world.

He and his firm currently produce creative concepts and images for clients both in Mexico and abroad, as well as for other advertising agencies. Additionally, he writes commissioned articles for photography magazines such as Retouched Magazine, DOCMA, Digital Camera, Digital SLR Photography, Digital Photo, and Good Light Magazine.
