Producer and VFX artist Ro Bot has worked in advertising and more recently for productions such as The Walking Dead, Club de Cuervos and Heroes Reborn. He has always used light as a volumetric element that brings realism to his 3D scenes.
In this online course, he teaches you how to work with photorealism from a less technical and more functional approach, generating credible images from CGI renders that allow you to imitate reality, transforming it at will.
This course is complementary to VFX Techniques for ArchViz Projects, where Ro Bot teaches you how to elevate your architectural visualization projects by integrating CGI and video.

You also need a computer with a 3D design program installed. Ro Bot uses 3DMax, Corona, and FStorm as render engines, but you can use whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Ro Bot is a VFX artist and architect specialized in animation-vfx project management for film and television. Before founding his own animation studio in 2001, he worked in the fields of architecture and advertising. With the creation of WhiteRabbit Studio, he began his foray into cinema and became a pioneer when it came to introducing VFX for Netflix series, working on the first original content generated in Mexico. His works have been exhibited in the Autodesk Best of the Best international selection and have been finalists in the Cannes Shortlist with advertising projects.
More recently, he became one of the founders of Stargate Studios MC, leading VFX projects for series like Heroes Reborn, The Walking Dead, and Fear the Walking Dead, among others. Beyond his role as a producer, his passion lies in the manifestation of light applied to rendering. He is obsessed with lighting in environments related to architecture and photography, and it is in this area where he has focused his greatest professional contribution.
