Architectural Animation in 3D

You’ll learn how to plan architectural animations with storyboards, optimize scenes in 3ds Max and Vray, animate cameras and objects, edit videos in After Effects, and apply post-production techniques to create photorealistic, professional real estate presentations.

This course is designed for students with basic knowledge of 3D modeling and architectural visualization, so it’s considered intermediate level. It’s perfect if you already have some experience with 3ds Max, Vray, or After Effects.

You’ll need a computer that can handle complex 3D scenes, with 3ds Max, Vray, and After Effects installed, plus basic skills in modeling and rendering. Previous video editing experience is also helpful.

Infoarchitecture involves representing architectural projects through 3D animations and renders to showcase spaces before they’re built. In this course, you’ll use it to create engaging and easy-to-understand real estate videos.

You’ll learn to create storyboards that visually organize the narrative, define sequences, camera angles, and transitions, ensuring an efficient production aligned with client goals.

The course covers cleaning up 3D models, using free scripts for optimization, tweaking materials, and advanced Vray settings to produce efficient renders without sacrificing visual quality.

You’ll be taught camera animation techniques in 3ds Max, including linear moves, sweeps, focal adjustments, and smooth shifts to create realistic and appealing virtual walkthroughs.
