She founded La Basketry in 2017; a lifestyle brand and online boutique that sells handcrafted baskets and home accessories. The first La Basketry collection was stocked at, among other places, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In 2019 Tabara also published Baskets; a guide to the art of basket weaving featuring 15 projects you can try at home.
