Learn how to recite a promotional script for three different purposes and convey a precise message by experimenting with rhythm, intonation, and voice modulation

Beyond a means of communication, speech is the art of influence. With a few choice words and a strong delivery, you can convince, motivate, or trigger specific thoughts in your listener, which makes advertising voice-over a powerful tool for conveying your clients' ideas. In this online course, voice-over actor Sebastián Llapur teaches you that there are a million ways to say the same phrase, but the key is knowing how to adapt it to a specific audience or context.

Breathing is a crucial factor when recording a voice-over: if you don't inhale properly, you won't exhale properly either. Following your teacher's expert advice, learn to control your breathing and master voicing and diction to get the perfect tone for any situation. By the end, you'll know how to identify your client's needs, decipher their message, and bring it life with rhythm, intonation, and voice modulation.

Voice-over Actor

Ever since he was little, Sebastián Llapur felt compelled to express himself through his voice, and by the age of 15 he was already doing artistic voice-overs for a local radio station. He continued his career in advertising voice-over until he fulfilled his life-long dream of breaking into the world of voice acting.

Since then, he's had the opportunity to voice famous characters like Daffy Duck, Grampa Simpson, Mufasa, and many more. He's also appeared in video games such as Sub Zero, Commander Zavala, and Marcus Phoenix. In advertising, he's recorded spots for a host of brands, including Ford, Ariel, and Movistar.

The quality of his work has earned him a variety of distinctions: he was named voice-over actor of the year by the Asociación Nacional de Locutores, won the José Lavat award for best voice actor, and was honored as a Distinguished Citizen of Salvador de Jujuy and Córdoba, Argentina.
