Learn to create, arrange, and bind an artistic journal to depict your daily travels through words, drawings, and objects
Each day is a new journey in which any number of things can happen. We go places, meet people, and have a variety of experiences ranging from unremarkable to extraordinary. Architect and teacher Claudio Patanè collects it all in something he calls a "custodiary," a travel sketchbook where he illustrates and recounts these daily happenings in order to cherish them forever.
In this online course, learn to create your own artistic travel journal alongside Claudio, starting with some watercolor drawings followed by words and descriptions and, finally, mementos and objects related to a particular moment. Then see how to assemble all your material and how to bind your book to compose a unique and personal travel journal. With Claudio as your guide, discover the hidden wonders scattered throughout your day-to-day, then illustrate them, narrate them, and treasure them.
