Learn how to evoke the beauty and complexity of nature by creating realistic scenes using asset libraries in Cinema 4D and OctaneRender

Asset libraries allow you to produce beautiful compositions without spending hours shaping every little detail. They’re a great way to experiment while also improving your creative process and time management. For 3D artist Fabian Oberhammer, also known as The Dizzy Viper, they’re fundamental to his work. His renders have seen him collaborate with car companies like Maserati, McLaren, and West Coast Customs, as well as with musicians like Excision, Skrillex, and Meek Mill.

In this online course, Fabian teaches you how to create believable nature scenes in Cinema 4D and Octane using Quixel assets and Forester. Design realistic vistas featuring details inspired by the world around you. Evoke the beauty and complexity of nature with simple yet cutting-edge techniques.

This is Fabien’s second Domestika course. In his first, Sci-Fi Scenes in 3D with Cinema 4D and OctaneRender, he teaches you how to use the same programs to design futuristic scenes.

3D Artist

Fabian Oberhammer, also known as The Dizzy Viper, is a 3D artist from Italy. He works as a freelancer in stage visuals and album covers, is a crypto artist, and also works in his family's travel agency. His field of expertise is scenebuilding and lighting in Cinema 4D and OctaneRender, especially working with fog, neon, and atmosphere. His renders have caught the attention of car companies like Maserati, McLaren, and West Coast Customs, as well as musicians like Excision, Skrillex, and Meek Mill.

It was through music that he found his way into 3D design; while looking for album art for his work, he decided to create his own. For several years now, he has continued to hone his skills and composes renders from start to finish on a daily basis. Thanks to his projects Abandoned Supercar and DRFT, as well as his YouTube tutorials, his popularity in the industry has been constantly growing. The puddles he created are now used by well-renowned figures such as Sarper Baran, Tom Coben, Clint Jones, Corridor Crew, and Mograph.
