I loved how the teacher encouraged keeping your creative approach loose and experimental. Her artwork is so inspiring, and she helps you feel like you can also make beautiful pieces.

I loved the inspiration to be inventive with stitches and adding / using other materials, to start from a photo but go beyond trying to duplicate it. It really opened up a new world of embroidery for me.
