Learn the fundamentals of macramé to create landscape-inspired wall hangings step by step, from the basic knots to the final styling

Macramé requires a delicate balance between imagination and logic. While its meditative qualities leave room for daydreaming, its problem-solving facet keeps you on your toes. This duality is what drew fiber artist Rachel Breuklander to macramé in the first place, and what started as a hobby evolved into a career. Knotting tapestries with evocative natural scenery, she quickly grew a following and founded The Lark’s Head, where she sells her pieces and provides educational resources for aspiring textile artists.

In this online course, learn to create landscape-inspired wall hangings with a step-by-step introduction to macramé. Rachel walks you through her entire process, from the initial design to the final knotting and styling. Capture the essence of the natural world in textured tapestries and add an elegant hint of color to any space.
