Use colorful markers and embroidery threads to create garments and decorations that express your personality
“For me, a stitch is equal to a paint stroke. It's impressive to see how simple threads can transform my home decor and daily outfits into colorful artwork with volume and texture.”
Artist and surface pattern designer Polina Oshu specializes in creating floral illustrations for textiles, decorative paper, packaging, and more, for clients such as Marks & Spencer and Penguin Random House.
In this online course, Polina teaches you how to express yourself through stitching and painting on textiles. Discover how to combine color, texture, and detail to reveal your ideas in the form of textiles. Give personality to garments with colorful paints and threads.
This is Polina’s second Domestika course, in her first Botanical Patterns in a Sketchbook: Conquer the Blank Page, she teaches you to create floral and abstract patterns filled with color and creativity.

I found Polina's course very inspiring and easy to follow with great ideas for domestic projects. I really enjoyed the combination of materials on the course using the Posca pens and embroidery. As a textile artist I have been able to use this technique to work with my own designs, materials and products. I would recommend doing this course if you like combining materials and using beautiful colours.
