Use the drawing to represent a true story, news, or event giving voice and face to its protagonists.

Comics are not only suitable for children and teenagers, but for some time now they have been adopted by newspapers, magazines and publications to tell true and complex stories. In fact, they have an expressive power that makes them very effective for depicting intense and significant situations. It also favors the identification of readers, giving a face, a name, a character to the protagonists.

Takoua Ben Mohamed began experimenting with graphic journalism when she was very young, telling the story of her family, who fled Tunisia under the dictatorship of Ben Ali. She then published numerous books using comics to tell important and too often forgotten social issues.

In this online course, she will therefore teach you how to approach a real topic, following not only the rules of journalism but also of the language of images. You will thus learn to collect information and then translate it into a script, draw it and share it with the world.
