Students will learn how to etch and print in two colours, creating a two-colour A4 print. They will explore linoleum etching, sketch it, reproduce it and then print it, possibly adding embellishments and variations.

Requirements and materials
No in-depth knowledge is required. Materials needed: gray linoleum plate, four different gouges, pencil, eraser, tracing paper, ink roller, glass plate, baren or wooden spoon, aquawash lino ink, Canson or Japanese type paper.

A course by Marion Livran
Marion Livran is a self-taught illustrator who reinvented herself after a 12-year career as a graphic designer. For over five years, she has devoted herself fully to art and linoleum engraving, a discipline that allows her to explore the movement and complexity of human forms. Inspired by artists such as Matisse, Schiele, and Cocteau, Marion draws on various sources of inspiration, from dance to literature, to enrich her creative universe. Her passion for linocutting has led her to create increasingly daring works, ranging from multi-colored raisin formats.
Alongside her artistic practice, Marion shares her know-how through introductory and creativity workshops in Paris. She has collaborated with prestigious brands in the fields of jewelry, perfume and spirits, and has exhibited in renowned galleries and boutiques such as Artazart and Fleux. Her work is also represented internationally by online galleries. For Marion, art is a non-verbal means of expression, a therapy that allows one to connect with one's deep emotions, which she strives to transmit to her students with enthusiasm and kindness.
