Who is this online course for?
Drawing, animation, and humor enthusiasts looking to explore new forms of expression.
Requirements and materials
No prior knowledge of illustration or animation is required.
In terms of materials, you need a computer with any standard 2D animation program, a microphone or cell phone, and software for sound editing and post-production. Alexis recommends Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects which have trial versions if you don't have them already. A graphics tablet can make your work easier but is not required.
New to Adobe After Effects? In that case, we recommend taking Domestika Basics courses to learn how to use the software: Introduction to After Effects.

A course by Alexis Moyano
Alexis Moyano is an Argentine illustrator, graphic designer, and animator. He has been drawing for as long as he can remember and has always been drawn to the audiovisual world, which eventually led him to animation, the place where both disciplines converge. In his more personal work, he always strives to do something he's passionate about, generally incorporating a humorous tone that teeters between the comical and the absurd.
Throughout his career, he has worked on several different types of projects, including web series, TV shows, commercials, book covers, and infographics. His animation work on social media, however, was what brought him increased visibility. In addition to expanding his audience, it led to work with companies such as Cartoon Network, TNT Sports, Nike, La Nación, Brahma, Fox Sports, Vans, Campari, Penguin Random House, and others.

Very interesting course - I already had some knowledge of Adobe Animate, so while it wasn't the right choice for me, I would definitely recommend this for beginners!
