Start by getting to know Teck24 and his journey through the world of letters, from his first illegal signature in a school bathroom to the present day. He gives you a tour of his most important works and his influences in the world of graffiti, design, calligraphy, and lettering.
Your first exercise consists of choosing a phrase or word to illustrate and then moving on to a timed brainstorm where you try out compositions and styles. Analyze the results and listen to Teck24 explain the mental attitude he needs to welcome creativity.
Discover the differences between calligraphy and lettering, as well as the tools and techniques you need to carry them out. Complete exercises from both disciplines to warm up your hand.
Determine the proposal of your project by brainstorming new ideas and then start to create, first on tracing paper to be able to correct the finishing touches on the design. Review concepts such as rhythm, interlettering, internal spaces, and harmony between the line and the surrounding space to refine the shape of your composition.
