Combine characters, lettering, and illustrated elements to create unique compositions from beginning to end

The key to making a character stand out from the rest is to give them a unique and memorable personality. The designers and illustrators at Guacala Studio have truly mastered this with their characters who are, in their words, a mix between the grotesque and the funny, transporting us straight to the '90s with their shapes and colors.

In this online course, Guacala Studio shows you the basic techniques to approach a digital illustration project involving lettering, main and secondary characters, and a background, which can be combined to make different compositions and applied in different formats. Go on a journey from the generation of ideas to the technical management of files for the production of cushions, stickers, posters, T-shirts, and more, taking a look at color management, lighting, shadows, contours, volumes, and visuals for the development of a range of effects.
