Amanda Woodcock

Amanda Woodcock, or Modern Science Project as she’s known online, is a multimedia artist and product designer from Seattle, Washington. She studied biomedical engineering at university before using her CAD design and engineering skills to create art. Art had always been a hobby for Amanda, and she started out selling her projects on Etsy before eventually going full-time with Modern Science Project in 2021.

Amanda combines a variety of mediums in her work which she shares with over 20K followers on Instagram, from laser cutting and 3D printing to ceramics, polymer clay, and resin. Her artistic style is feminine with a quirky twist, and she aims to make unexpected items that are both beautiful and functional.
