Learn the basic concepts, techniques, and 2D processes to create movie scenes

Did you know that creating realistic scenarios in cinema has a name? This is the matte painting technique. Before programs like Photoshop existed, scenarios were performed on a set manually or with models. Luckily, this changed thanks to the appearance of digital techniques that brought realism and more professional finishes. The specialist in this technique, Koke Núñez, creates impossible scenarios and landscapes for films and for world-renowned clients such as Two Steps From Hell, Warner Bros Music Chappell, Immediate Music or Ikea.

In this course, Koke will teach you how to create matte paintings that could be part of a film production. You will know everything related to this technique, seeing how large productions use it. In addition, you will learn the techniques used, the use of brushes or the lighting and integration of elements in the composition. Create a movie scene!
