Artist and Creative Director

M.Tony Peralta is a contemporary artist and creative director who was born and raised in New York City. He first started drawing at school and produced his first run of t-shirts with the savings from his part-time job at just 17 years old. He later went on to complete a bachelor’s degree in media arts at Long Island University, focusing on graphic design, photography, and film. After graduating, he became the creative director of a boutique marketing company but, driven by a desire to create something in a non-digital space, M.Tony began teaching himself screen printing and enrolled in a screen printing class at the School of Visual Arts.

Since then, he’s had his work shown at museums and featured in The New York Times. He’s collaborated with clients including Nike, Bleacher Report, and Presidente Beer. He also designed his own sneakers for Adidas and currently runs his own indie brand called The Peralta Project where he creates artwork that represents his culture and upbringing.
