From a young age, Louise struggled to communicate and looked to creative means to convey her feelings. She enjoyed art at school, before moving on to graphic and product design, and later studying interior architecture and design at university. She first tried journaling after graduating and discovered it was an excellent way to manage her busy lifestyle.

After a varied career in design, Louise has honed her craft and gained a following in the bullet journaling community. She has worked with the BBC, teaching young adults and children to organize their schedules, and created mental health and self-care content for Papier. She is currently a brand ambassador for Tombow and has started her own online brand, Doodlelou.
