Learn to use polychrome techniques to achieve unique effects with your sculptures and create your own catalog of pictorial resources
Learn to use polychrome techniques to achieve unique effects with your sculptures and create your own catalog of pictorial resources
Tomàs Barceló was always fascinated by painted sculpture, however, he did not know how to give depth to those layers of different shades. When he set out to study color in depth, he understood that he had to create open sculptures in their forms that invited color to participate in their space.
In this online course, Tomàs will teach you to paint effects that can be combined with each other to create complex polychromy in any sculptural work. If you want to continue learning with your teacher, you can consult his previous course: Sculpture: clay modeling and assembly

Reviews
A course by Tomas Barcelo
Tomàs Barceló is a traditional sculptor who uses clay and plaster, but who has dared to reinvent himself, adding new materials and new techniques and languages, such as assembling found objects. For Tomàs, this has been the perfect combination between his love for ancient sculpture and his passion for fantasy and science fiction, resulting in his “ancient relics of the future”.
During his career, he has had the opportunity to work as a sculptor in the world of cinema with “Asura”, Maleficent II, and “Dune” by Denis Villeneuve. Today, he is dedicated to creating his own world in the form of sculptures and sharing it with his audience on social networks.

Excelente maestro Tomás, como explica su proceso, la policromía; los ejemplos de acabados son una pasada. Aplicarlo tanto a esculturas como espacios y objetos. Gracias.
