Anna Wilson
A course by Anna Wilson
Anna Wilson is an artist based in London, Ontario. She graduated from Western University in 2018, where she studied Visual Art and Psychology. Between 2018 and 2022, she worked as an artist in residence at TAP Centre for Creativity, developing a strong interest in drawing architecture and furniture. Her first solo exhibition took place in June 2019, and since then her work has been exhibited in cities across Canada, including Toronto, Montreal, and Nova Scotia.
Working full time from her studio, Anna creates intricate drawings that explore the intersection between imagined and real spaces, often inspired by local architecture and interior environments. Her work evokes feelings of comfort, familiarity, and quiet introspection. She has received multiple grants from the Canada Council for the Arts through the Explore and Create program (2020–2022), as well as the TAP Emerging Artist Program residency. Her drawings are part of the Colart Collection and Sifton Properties collections and have been featured in Create! Magazine. Her work is currently represented by Westland Gallery (London, Ontario) and Haven Gallery (Northport, New York).
