The calculation of points

In this lesson, you'll learn how to determine the main measurement that will guide your entire design. You'll translate this measurement into stitches, using your tension gauge as a reference, and calculate the proportion of stitches that correspond to each part of the raglan sweater: front, sleeves, and back.

How to Increase the Stitches

Now that you know how to knit, purl, and decrease, in this lesson I'll teach you how to increase stitches. This will allow you to create any shape you want.

In this lesson, we'll knit a knitted necklace to begin knitting in the round. If you like, you can make it taller and turn it into a warm winter collar.
