What's included in this course?
Meet your teacher, Natália, who tells you about her trajectory in the world of textile arts and how she created her own brand: Aram Studio. She also introduces you to some of her most important work and tells you what you will learn throughout this course.
In the second unit, review the history of macramé, exploring the different types of fibers, as well as their main characteristics and properties. Then, take a look at all the materials you need to create your tapestry.
Natália introduces you to different knots and teaches you some basic macramé stitches and their variations. Learn how to create geometric patterns from the scalloped knot and practice the techniques needed to make your own frame.
Immediately after sketching your piece and leaving your threads prepared in the frame, it’s time to start weaving—beginning from the top and following with the central shapes until you reach the bangs, final touches, and strands.
After weaving your decorative piece, Natália gives you a series of cleaning and maintenance tips so that you can keep your piece looking its best.

Requirements and materials
No previous knowledge is required, just a desire to learn, some determination, and the patience to develop beautiful pieces.
As for materials, you will need paper, pencil, a calculator, a wooden frame, thread, scissors, measuring tape, a fine comb, and a structure to hold your frame (it can be a nail in the wall or a hanger).

Excelente explicación de todos los nudos y sus variaciones te permite expandir la creatividad desde lo más simple a lo más complejo. La profe utiliza términos de comunicación que, aun no teniendo experiencia en la técnica, te hace comprender y aprendes de inmediato. El Proyecto final te expande en conocimientos!

Her path as a textile entrepreneur began with the creation of her accessory brand selling Orinuno pieces—a fabric-folding technique originating from Origami. She then decided to dedicate herself solely to macramé and, in 2018, Aram Studio was born. It is a place of artistic expression with natural fibers, where she carries out interior design projects for both commercial and independent clients.
