    Wies van der Velde, or SowiesoWies as she’s also known online, is an illustrator, artist, and potter from Utrecht, The Netherlands. She specializes in block printing and has been experimenting with the technique since she was ten years old after discovering her fascination with the unique textures it creates. Wies went on to study at an art academy, where she honed her artistic skills.

    After graduating, she spent time finding her style and eventually began selling her work online. Since then, Wies has turned her artistic passion into a career and now works full-time from her own studio. She aims to bring joy to the world through her artwork, which she shares with over 150K followers on Instagram.
