You might already know Jose Antonio Martín, TD character and rigger who has worked for studios like Framestore, MPC, and Double Negative on movies like Gravity, Terminator Genesis, Suicide Squad, and Ghost in the Shell, from his other courses Introduction to Rigging for Animation and Rigging and deformation of a character, in which he teaches how to create the control parameters to be able to move your animated characters.
In this online course, he goes a step further with advanced techniques to improve the deformation and control rig of your characters for more complex functionalities that truly bring them to life. Jose Antonio explains some of the most important principles of animation, such as the squash and stretch effect, which allows you to exaggerate the action and emotion effects of a character for more cartoon-like results, as well as dynamics, which can be added to elements such as clothing and hair, to save animation time.
