You will need a sketchbook, tracing paper, carving tools, a bench hook, a barren or wooden spoon, a sharpening stone and strop, printmaking papers, three colors of ink, and an ink roller, and linoleum blocks.

This is a great course for someone who's never tried lino printing before. Don goes through every stage of the process with meticulous detail. For the more seasoned printmaker, it may be a little basic, but I found the multiple colour and radial inking techniques useful, as well as the information about which papers work best. I would recommend this course to someone who wants to learn something about lino printing from scratch.
Don is also a freelance artist and part of the collaborative project the Detroit Wood Type Co. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States, and has been featured in publications like Fortune, the L.A. Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Other notable projects include designing the Olympic medal for the Winter Games in 2002, as well as designing murals for the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
