A course by Daniel Torrent Riba
Dani Torrent is an illustrator, painter, and also a writer. He lives in Barcelona and has more than ten years' experience illustrating picture books, many of them self-authored. He studied film directing and that knowledge is reflected in the structure, pace, and composition of his creations, which embody the essence of a short film.
He has created illustrations for media outlets and advertising, but he is most well known for his creative work in the field of children’s and young adult literature. He has worked for Spanish publishing companies such as Edelvives, Kalandraka, Alfaguara, Cal.lígraf and Comanegra, but his artistic work has had a much greater impact on his career and led him to be a renowned illustrator. He has also published his work in France, Italy, Belgium, Mexico, China, Korea, and the United States.

Thank you, Daniel, for this enlightening and liberating course. Before I always thought drawing figures and the human body is difficult and requires profound anatomical knowledge, now I have enjoyed immensely the complete freedom and joy of just the act of drawing figures, and I can always experiment and enhance my knowledge along the way, it's the enjoyment of process that sustains me to continuous progress.
