Nicholas Kole is a character designer and illustrator based in Vancouver, Canada. He developed a passion for creating characters as a child and knew by high school that it was his calling. He went on to complete a degree in illustration before entering the professional sphere, working across film, television, publishing, video games, trading cards, and toys. He loves the freedom and versatility of digital tools and draws all his designs exclusively in Procreate.
Over the course of his career, he has worked on franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and collaborated with clients including Disney, Dreamworks, Nintendo, Activision Blizzard, Netflix, Hasbro, Mattel, Warner Bros., and EA Games. He currently holds the role of principal concept artist at Phoenix Labs.
