      I highly recommend this course for ANYONE WORKING IN CREATIVE FIELDS. You don't have to be working in advertising to take this course. Jim's brainstorming method is truly excellent. It's a fundamental foundation of CREATIVE THINKING that any creative out there SHOULD and MUST have! 10/10. This course is for everyone!

He’s led teams at agencies like DDB and Leo Burnett, served as Head of Brand Creative at Yahoo, and worked on everything from global tech giants to scrappy startups.

    For over two decades, Jim has also taught at leading portfolio programs and universities, guiding students in creative advertising, branding, storytelling, scriptwriting, copywriting, and campaign development. He is currently a professor at the University of Texas in Austin.

    Jim’s teaching style is approachable and practical, rooted in strategy and consumer insight, and aimed at helping students find their own creative voice.

    In his classes, you’ll learn how to turn a spark into a full creative pitch—from uncovering insights to generating ideas, from scribbles on sticky notes to polished presentations.
