You will start by getting to know your teacher Caro Bello better and her work, her professional career and sources of inspiration. Then you will look through the materials you will need to take the course and carry out the final project.
Later, you will discover the design that you are going to embroider and how to transfer it to a dark fabric. Then you will start working with the basic stitches: loop and flat stitch.
Next, you will continue with the non-traditional ones. You'll see the fill stitches: stripes, fine chains, scapular, long spiral stitch, and V-fill.
Then you will create natural elements with the cobweb and wheel stitch and you will give life to two leaf models. You will also embroider a striking mandala, followed by leaves and flowers with extra volume, made with the fat leaf, rose, feather duster, wrapped cord and sapling stitches.
Next, you will apply the ribs or decorated lines. Finally, you will add the final details to enhance the design and learn how to present your finished piece.
You will embroider a design made up of 15 non-traditional stitches that, in addition to being a decorative piece, will serve as a sample book.
For designers, artists, illustrators or anyone who knows how to embroider with a magic needle and who wants to continue deepening their knowledge of the technique.
To take this course you will need basic knowledge of punch needle.
As for the materials, you will use 2 and 3 mm thick needles, balls of wool or semi-thick and fine acrylic, fabric, stretcher frame, and wool needle, among others.
