    FAQs

Punch needle is an embroidery technique using a hollow needle that creates texture and dimension on fabric—perfect for decorative projects, samplers, and personalized items.

This course is designed for people with basic embroidery knowledge, but you’re welcome to join whether you have prior experience or want to dive deeper into advanced punch needle techniques.

You’ll need needles of various thicknesses, a variety of threads (acrylic, cotton, wool), suitable fabric, an embroidery hoop, erasable fabric pen, scissors, and some auxiliary materials for transferring designs.

You’ll learn how to choose materials, transfer and prepare designs, apply advanced stitches, create personalized samplers, and finish projects in various decorative formats.

You can transfer your design using methods like erasable fabric pens, carbon paper, stencils, or chalk—choosing the best option based on your fabric type and color.

You can use cotton, wool, and acrylic threads in different thicknesses; mixing them creates visual contrast, texture, and unique finishes in your embroidery projects.

You’ll learn to combine colors using color theory and visual harmony to create attractive, personalized embroidery compositions.
