    Joined June 2025

Marisol Cal y Mayor is a Mexican choreographer, stage director, and performing artist. Her work, with its sensual and rebellious spirit, focuses on creating visual narratives and performative experiences that explore pleasure, sensuality, female eroticism, and the symbolic transformation of the human body.

Specializing in cabaret and movement direction, she has developed stage projects with her independent company Altagracia, founded in 2010, and has collaborated with musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists such as Hello Seahorse!, Ana Torroja, Moenia, and Titán. She has also worked on choreographies for film, television series, music videos, and advertising, working with dancers, actors, models, and people with no prior stage experience.

Her works and performances have been presented in venues such as the Palace of Fine Arts, the Chopo University Museum, and Casa del Lago, as well as at international festivals like the Cervantino International Festival and ASVOFF. She also leads workshops and retreats focused on creativity, body, and consciousness for people of all ages at cultural institutions and museums throughout Mexico.
